DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE
Last 2 Day Course on offer!
14TH SEPTEMBER 9.00 - 16.00 & 21ST SEPTEMBER 13.00 - 20.00
DHEKELIA GARRISON
€95 per candidate
This course is a great opportunity to learn the basics of Digital Photography. You will be taught by a professional photographer on how to get the camera away from the auto function and put you in control of the photos that you are taking. You will understand all about shutter speed, aperture and depth of field amongst other requirements such as what ISO is and stands for to help you take fantastic shots in the future.
... Ideally you will require a Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera to attend the course. However if you don’t have one, then let us know and one may well be provided. The course will be held over two consecutive Weekends (see dates above) and to get the most from the course a small project will be given out to do during the week in-between. To ensure there is enough time for students this course will be capped in numbers. Hope to see you soon.
If you have any questions at all then please do not hesitate to contact us on 97803994.
Leanne & Danny
Leanne Marsh - April 2013
I originally went on the basic photography course as I live in a beautiful country with so much to look at (especially the storms), had a fairly decent camera and apart from the auto button and had absolutely no idea how to use it! This course is brilliant for the beginner that I was. I got taught about lighting, movement, depth of field etc and all those little settings you didn't know you had on your camera. We got taken out and shown how to take pictures, use our imagination and actually think ahead about the shots. I would thoroughly recommend this course to any beginner that wants to better their pictures in every way.
Sara Colwill - April 2013
I highly recommend anyone who has an interest in photography to do this course . I have been taking photographs for years i have literally thousands and thousands on my computer, But none can compare to the pictures i can take now thanks to Leanne and Danny. the course is amazing not only is it value for the price, it has taught me how to take my self out of auto, and use my camera to its full potential, i am impressed with the results, and i can tell you that both Leanne and Danny are lovely people and if you are considering to go on their course you would not be disappointed.
Lou Wilke - April 2013
I've always loved taking pictures, but found I got lucky on the auto mode due to a good camera and lens. Since doing the photography course, I'm now thinking about my pictures differently - how I actually want them to look, rather than pointing, shooting and hoping for the best! And now I know what I need to use to get those shots. The course is a good mix of classroom and practical, and Danny is a great teacher; patient, honest and critical - in a good way! I'd recommend this course to anyone who wants to get the best out of their camera and to learn how to make good shots great! You've turned a happy snapper into a budding photographer!
Katie Holmes - November 2012
'Years ago I was brought a DSLR and never really knew what I was doing and it was permanently set on automatic! When the opportunity arose to attend a course at Dhekelia with Tartan-Heart Photography it was something that definitely appealed to me.
Thanks to Danny, I now have a much better understanding of photography and can take full advantage of my camera. His low-tech approach, breaking down individual elements and uncomplicated explanations made it easy for me to gain priceless knowledge. I particular enjoyed the outdoor shoots...even though we could always guarantee bad weather!
I have seen a huge difference in my photos and not with the automatic features on my camera! I recommend this course to anyone wanting to step into the world of photography'
Tartan Heart Photography will be launching their 5 day and 10 day courses in October. Dates to be announced shortly.
